The Mystery Disappearances Of Whale Island

Whale Island was in a panic.  Paulina of the Thea Sisters had gone scuba diving and had not returned.  Fearing the worst, the entire population (except for Vanilla de Visson and her crew) marshaled every craft they could get to search for her.

Which made the appearance of one craft at a remote dock on the island seem odd to Paulina's fellow student Dina Squid.  So she boarded the craft to ask someone why they weren't out searching.  Entering a cabin, she made a surprising discovery: Paulina, bound and gagged and stuffed in a corner.  But before she could free her friend, Dina was discovered by the crew of the craft.  Now she shares Paulina's uncertain fate.

Paulina and Dina Squid are copyright 2015 by Edizione Piemme (Italy) and Scholastic Inc. (USA)  and frankly the Mouseford Academy series shouldn't be available exclusively to Elementary school students in the US because some people who have already graduated like them too and don't feel like paying exorbitant prices from used book dealers to read them.  So I hear...
