Gravity Noir

She came to him one gray, cloudy day.  Her hair was golden.  Her money was green.  And her suit was immaculately tailored, ready to show off her obvious charms.  She told him that a coarse backwoods muscle man was threatening her family and she wanted Dipper to make him stop - - any way necessary.

Dipper was a private eye who'd been around the block a few times and only got lost once.  As such, he was familiar with the type of rich, spoiled society dame that Pacifica Northwest was and he knew to keep one eye on her as he handled her "little problem".  But something wasn't right.  She was actually behaving like there were human feelings buried under all of that money.  That there was actually a woman beneath the expensive tailored suit - - a woman he could like, a lot. 

But was it really there?  Or was it just an act to put him off the scent of what was really going down?  Dipper wondered if it was worth a hundred bucks a day plus expenses.

Then he glanced at Pacifica again.  Lust won out over logic.  Wasn't it always the way?
