Cooped Up Coopers

Looks like the Cooper family has an unexpected guest - - and it isn't Archie.

The genesis of this picture started with me reading one of those Archie Comics reprint digests and noticing how Dan DeCarlo always drew Betty's mom Alice (that's right, Alice Cooper) to be clearly in her forties but still attractive.  Of all of the Riverdale moms, I always found his depiction of her to be the most attractive.

And it got me to want to draw her.  And after I did, I decided to add Betty's older sister, Polly (the one in the middle) and Betty to the picture.  Because three damsels are always better than one.  Hal's going to have a surprise for himself when he gets home.
